Message I was tearing apart a friends engine tonight & noticed that there is some red coating on some of the parts.

A quick back story. Its a Twin Turbo. The owner had an earlier Snow Performance WI kit that killed a Blitz boost controller solenoid & started to rust his stock steel intercooler piping so he got rid of the kit. That was about 2 years ago. During the time he had the kit he ran the Snow Performance Booster Juice, then windshield washer fluid & then back to the Booster Juice.

Currently his exhaust wheels have a red/green/purple coating on them. #2, 4 & 3 cylinder exhaust valves have the red coating on them, but the other cylinders # 1, 5 & 6 have the normal black mild carbon build up.

I'm not too familiar with WI kits & I know the Booster Juice is Red its self. Are the red deposits anything to be concerned with? Any thoughts as to why one 3 of the 6 cylinders have the coloring? I'm surprised any of it is there after 2 years (10,000 miles +). BTW he only runs 91 & 100 octane fuel, no leaded fuels.

Thanks for any thoughts you may have.
